What is DoggySwim canine hydrotherapy pool?
The DoggySwim range has been purpose built as a collection of dedicated hydrotherapy pools for dogs, based on the award winning swim spas made by Riptide Pools. Swimming in warm water helps dogs recover following surgery, long term mobility problems and exercise. It can treat many conditions including muscle and ligament damage.
The pools are sturdy and insulated, designed for water-based exercise and restorative care. With a variety of sizes, water temperature control and adjustable counter-current jet configurations, which deliver the perfect water flow for dogs of all sizes to exercise in, DoggySwim dog pools provide the ideal safe environment.
Riptide has taken their years of expertise and technical know-how building home exercise pools for people and fused it with their research and input from canine professionals. The result of their efforts is DoggySwim, a fully featured hydrotherapy pool for dogs.

DoggySwim S290
Suitable for medium to large dogs, the slipsafe ramp and steps within the S290’s shell make access easy for both dog and owner.
The S290 features a corona discharge ozone generator and floating automatic chlorinator plus 50 sq ft of filtration and fur catcher membrane to maintain pure, clean water.

Clean, Clear Warm Water
DoggySwim pools feature a 50 sq ft fine particle filter with additional sand filter on the DoggySwim, working alongside a Corona Discharge Ozone Generator and floating Chlorinator which both serve to sanitise against bacteria and waterborne pathogens.
The water is kept warm by an efficient 3kW heater, which allows the bathing temperature to be set before use. The recommended temperature range for hydrotherapy use is 30-31 degrees Celsius.
Easy Care and Maintenance, Minimal Running Costs
The DoggySwim has been designed to live both outdoors in your garden, or inside. Well insulated with 2lb closed cell foam, the heat is also locked in by the thermal cover which helps to minimise running costs.
The highly durable wood-effect cabinet is simple to clean and will retain a fantastic finish for years if well cared for. The shell of the pool is USA-made Aristech acrylic, backed with fibreglass for strength and durability - this is the same material used in Riptide's award-winning swim spas.
Competitors use fibreglass with a gel coat, which in time will crack and de-laminate. DoggySwim™ also uses the same top quality running gear as Riptide's premium swim spas and exercise pools.
Free DoggySwim™ Water Care Kit
Every pool we sell comes complete with the DoggySwim™ Water Care Kit, which contains everything required to keep the water clean, clear and safe.
The kit includes 500ml bottles of Foam Reducer, Waterline Cleaner, Alkalinity Increaser, pH Increaser, pH Reducer and No Scale, along with Instant Filter Cleaner, a Floating Chlorine Tab Dispenser, 200g Chlorine Tabs, 50 Aquachek 4 Test Strips and 250ml Hot Tub System Cleaner.
Sand Filter
The DoggySwim comes as standard fitted with a Sand Filter.
This pre-installed sand filter helps keep your water in pristine condition by removing dirt and particles from the pool water. It is easy to use and fully explained in the owners manual.
Lifejackets
If your dog loves water, and you feel confident with their swimming abilities, then a lifejacket may not be necessary, however, because of the variety of fitments available, to suit dogs of all shapes and sizes, we do not retail the life jackets ourselves - it's best for you and your pet to spend time selecting the right fit.
Up Buoy Lifejackets, our recommended choice, are supplied with a D ring both near the collar and at the rear of the jacket, for use with the optional DoggySwim gantry. The jackets also come complete with a useful carry handle.
