AquaChek Chlorine 4 Test - 50 Strips

£10.50 instead of £15

COLOUR INDICATORS SHOW THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT WATER VALUES:

  • Chlorine Content
  • Alkalinity (Buffer function for pH value)
  • pH Value
  • Water Hardness
  • Bromine
  • Cyanuric Acid (Stabiliser)

You will only obtain meaningful results if the test strips are quietly moved through the water for about 3 seconds at least 30 cm below the water surface and are not shaken afterwards. The colour comparison should take place within 30 seconds.

Close the packaging – daylight can negatively affect the colour indicators.

IMPORTANT:

Chlorine Content should and must always be at "Zero" unless a shock chlorination has just been done!
Alkalinity MUST be within the correct specified range, otherwise the readable pH value indications will NOT be accurate!
pH Value is the most important indicator for perfect water quality!
Water Hardness MUST be defined at the initial commissioning – soft, moderately hard, hard, very hard – and once recorded can be assumed as a constant starting hardness. For ongoing tests, this colour indicator is no longer of great relevance.
Cyanuric Acid Value indicates the concentration of "stabilisers" of chlorine in the water. The stabiliser in chlorine acts against the aggressiveness of UV light – however, too high a concentration also inhibits the effectiveness of chlorine.
