Who is “The Hot Tub Barn”?
Hot Tub Barn is the sister company to HotSpring Spas. We are an Internet Store selling Hot Spot hot tubs direct.  The Hot Spot range is made by HotSpring Hot tubs in the USA.

What Services do you offer?
We can provide delivery and commissioning services if purchased, plus full after-sales care across UK.

Can you help us move our hot tub when we move house?
No problem.  We will quote to carefully wrap, transport and re-install over any distance.

What warranty do I get on my hot tub?

For how long do the hot tubs last for?

Our hot tubs are built for many years of fun and hydrotherapy. You can enjoy yours from 5 to 10 years but it could be up to 20 with care and maintenance.

 
Are your hot tubs fully re-locatable?
Yes, as long as you have the appropriate base and electrics, you should be able to move and reposition your hot tub pretty much anywhere you would like.

Do I need to use lots of chemicals?
No. With our maintenance programme, designed to make your life easy and stress free, you will probably spend no more than a few minutes a week treating the water. We will provide you with a DVD Guide on how to maintain your hot tub.

What are the running costs?
The Hot Spot hot tubs cost about 60 pence per day to run depending on season and usage.

How often do I need to change the water?
Owing to our superior filtration, we recommend that you change the water in Hot Tub Barn Hot tubs every 4 months.

Are the hot tub controls easy to use?
Yes. The control panel is clearly displayed, and once you have set the desired temperature, you can just forget it!

Are the covers effective at keeping the heat in?
Yes, the cover has been designed to trap in the heat and it has extended flaps to prevent the wind from getting up under the cover and cooling the water.

What is the temperature range of the hot tub?
The Hot Tub Barn hot tubs have a range of between 26 and 42 degrees – this enables you to have a cooler hot tub for the summer months, and a wonderful steamy hot tub for those icy winter evenings!

Does the cabinet require any maintenance?

The cabinets on our hot tubs are made from easy care, wood-effect material, which requires no specific maintenance. You may want to simply rinse it with a hose once in a while to keep it looking nice so that it retains its lustre during its lifetime. You may also like to know that the cabinets never lose their colour.

Can I use my new hot tub inside my house?

Yes, in theory a hot tub can go inside the home, however, there are some things you will need to consider if this is what you plan to do. You will need to check that the hot tub will physically fit through any doors to get it into the required room - our hot tubs are delivered as a single unit and don't go through standard sized doors. You will also need sufficient ventilation - many people purchase de-humidifiers but you might like to make sure that the room also has a number of doors and windows that can be opened or you may get very hot whilst in the hot tub!

 

 

 

 

 

 


 

 

 

 

 

What base do I need to stand the hot tub on?
We recommend a flat level solid base; this is to make sure the hot tub does not sink (typically this would be a four-inch concrete base).  Although this does not affect your warranty, a hot tub positioned on a surface that is not level will have water that appears higher on one side to another, and you will find that you need to constantly top up the water.

What electrics do I need?
With regards to the electrical supply you should only use a CSCS/ECS registered Electrician. Typical electrical costs are £300 to £400 for a circuit from your consumer unit to the hot tub, add a further £150 to £200 should you want a socket outlet or some garden lighting. This is based on a typical circuit length of 30 metres. The Sorrento hot tub will run off a standard 13A socket outlet so no electrical works are generally required.

Do I need to have a water supply piped to the hot tub?
You do not need a water supply as our hot tubs are filled and emptied via a hose.

Where should I put the hot tub?
Technically you can place a hot tub anywhere, although we find that most of our customers prefer the outdoor experience. As such we have a gazebo available to help protect you from the weather and nosey neighbours!

Can I sink the hot tub into decking?
Yes, providing you leave the appropriate access to the maintenance panel.

Will you deliver anywhere in the UK?
We will deliver everywhere in the UK with the exception of a few postcodes - in these cases customers may arrange to collect their purchase from the nearest distribution centre. Please see the "National Service Network" page to determine if you are in a delivery area and where your nearest Distribution Centre is located for the collection-only service. Please note that we will only let people collect Hot tubs direct from our distribution centre if money has been transferred to our account (owing to risk of fraud we cannot accept payment by any form of cheque, cash or card for distribution centre pick up).

Will you install and commission the hot tub?
The installation and commissioning of your new hot tub will take approximately 2-3 hours so there is an additional charge for this. However, you do not have to order this service from us so, if you prefer, we can simply deliver your hot tub.

My Order has arrived damaged
Please notify us immediately so that we can arrange for your faulty goods to be collected and immediately deliver a new consignment at no additional cost to you (please contact your nearest Distribution Centre - see National Service Network page for more details). If you do not want the faulty goods replaced then we will collect them and issue you a full refund.

We have received the wrong goods
Should we inadvertently deliver the wrong goods, please notify us immediately so that we may rectify the problem at no additional cost to you (please contact your nearest Distribution Centre - see National Service Network for more information). We will collect the wrongly sent goods and we will either send the correct goods or give you a full refund.

My hot tub is not working as it should. What do I do?

Simply email your closest Distribution centre providing as much information as possible regarding the problem. Once we are aware of a fault we will fix it as soon as possibe. Please see the National Network Service page to determine the nearest of four Centres to your location.

Can you deliver to anywhere in the UK?
We will deliver everywhere in the UK with the exception of a few postcodes - in these cases customers may arrange to collect their purchase from the nearest distribution centre. Please see the "National Service Network" page to determine if you are in a delivery area and where your nearest Distribution Centre is located for the collection-only service.

On-line, Credit card or cheque or Bankers Draft 10 days in advance - please call 01737 240144 to place your order.


How long will it take to deliver my order?
If we have the stock then we can deliver within 48 hours. If the stock needs to be ordered (or if you select a longer delivery timeframe) then it may take up to 60 days for delivery - do remember that the prices of our hot tubs reflects which delivery option you require.

How much do you charge for delivery?
Your hot tub will be delivered and dropped of for your full inspection at the road outside your house. We are happy to leave it on the property for you to subsequently position the hot tub yourself. Kerbside delivery is included on the price of your hot tub or gazebo. If you have purchased accessories then orders over £60 are free, and orders less than £60 cost £10 delivery. Please see the National Service Network page to confirm that we deliver to your area (does not refer to accessories).

How will the delivery be arranged?
You will be contacted by email by our Service Department to arrange a date for delivery for your new hot tub or gazebo.

Do I get anything for recommending a friend?
Yes. At Hot Tub Barn we like to thank our customers for recommending us to their friends and family. Please ask your friend/family member to put your name, postcode, which hot tub you purchased and the month of purchase into the fields at the “Checkout”.

Once the transaction has been confirmed we will email you with a voucher code for a £50 which can be used in a single transaction on the HTB website. This code should be entered in the “voucher code” field at the checkout in order to receive your discount.

The voucher code may be used as part payment or to pay for your shopping up to the value of £50 (NB: if your transaction is less than £50 then you will forfeit the balance of the discount voucher).
